Acceptable Use Policy

Wordsmith Media Solutions LLC strives to provide high-quality professional publishing and digital marketing services. Because many of our services involve customized creative work and professional expertise, this Refund & Cancellation Policy governs cancellations and refund requests.

1. Project Deposits

Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, project deposits are non-refundable. Deposits secure project scheduling, planning, and allocation of resources.

2. Publishing Services

Services such as editing, proofreading, formatting, cover design, manuscript evaluation, ISBN assistance, publishing setup, and related professional services begin upon project acceptance.

Refunds are generally not available once work has commenced or deliverables have been provided.

3. Digital Marketing Services

Marketing services—including website development, SEO, branding, social media management, advertising, content creation, and email marketing—are customized for each client.

Payments for completed work are non-refundable.

Monthly marketing services may be canceled in accordance with the terms of the applicable service agreement. Services already performed remain payable.

4. Client Cancellation

Clients may cancel a project by providing written notice.

If work has already begun, the client remains responsible for payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date.

Completed deliverables will be provided only after outstanding balances have been paid in full.

5. Company Cancellation

Wordsmith Media Solutions reserves the right to terminate a project if:

• The client breaches the service agreement.
• Required payments are not received.
• The client engages in abusive or unlawful conduct.
• The client requests services that violate applicable laws or intellectual property rights.

If we terminate a project for reasons unrelated to client misconduct, we may issue a partial refund for work not yet performed at our sole discretion.

6. Refund Requests

• Work completed
• Deliverables provided
• Contractual obligations
• Project milestones

7. Third-Party Fees

Fees paid to third parties—including ISBN agencies, printing providers, advertising platforms, shipping companies, payment processors, or domain registrars—are generally non-refundable and are governed by the policies of those providers.

8. Chargebacks

Clients agree to contact Wordsmith Media Solutions before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback. We are committed to resolving billing concerns in good faith.

Improper chargebacks may result in suspension of services and legal action where appropriate.

9. Exceptions

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Policy Updates

We may revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. The revised version will become effective upon publication on our website.
